As a breach coach, Marc leads responses to cybersecurity and privacy incidents of all types and severity, including incidents involving cyberextortion and data theft, business email compromises, and accidental disclosures of personal information.
Marc provides information risk management and privacy law compliance advice to clients in all sectors. He drafts and advises on re-identification risk assessments and privacy impact assessments, and drafts and negotiates data sharing agreements, data protection agreements, and data licensing agreements.
Marc also regularly advises public sector institutions on the freedom of information requests, and represents institutions in privacy commissioner inquiries and freedom of information appeals.
