Braeden maintains a litigation and advisory practice focused on environmental, shipping and transportation, and energy law. He represents clients in regulatory, administrative, commercial, and insurance disputes, and advises on compliance, permitting, contaminated sites, project development, and transactional risk allocation.
Braeden has experience assisting clients before all levels of court in British Columbia, the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal, the Alberta Court of King’s Bench, the Alberta Court of Justice, and various administrative tribunals.
He regularly provides strategic advice on transportation and energy-related contracts, regulatory compliance, inspections and investigations, contaminated sites remediation, toxic substances regulation, and environmental risk allocation in real estate and commercial transactions.
Braeden also assists international clients with evidence-gathering for use in foreign proceedings through the enforcement of letters rogatory (letters of request).
