Kathleen specializes in trademark prosecution and enforcement, and commercial transaction involving intellectual property rights.

Kathleen also advises on a broad range of IP license agreements, commercial transactions involving IP, and intellectual property protection and strategy. Kathleen regularly negotiates and drafts agreements involving development, licensing (including through subscription), distribution and the purchase and sale of goods and services that touch upon IP rights. 

As a lawyer, trademark agent and holder of the Osgoode Certificate in Intellectual Property (IP) Licensing, Kathleen is able to provide businesses with practical intellectual property advice, including on intellectual property protection, registration, and licensing (with a particular focus on trademarks and copyright). Clients span a broad range of industries, including pharmaceutical and biotechnology, consumer healthcare, food and beverage, and clothing and footwear.

Kathleen is a former member of BLG's Partnership Board and co-leads BLG's Trademark practice. She practices in both English and French.
