Christine advises and advocates for organizations and professionals across the health and life sciences sectors throughout Canada. She provides regulatory and strategic guidance to clients from early-stage companies to established national and multinational organizations navigating complex healthcare legal frameworks.
Her regulatory practice spans a wide range of healthcare and life sciences matters, including virtual care, GLP-1 therapeutics, laboratory developed tests, medical devices, pharmaceuticals and clinical operations. She advises healthcare businesses—such as medical clinics, pharmacies, MediSpas, diagnostic imaging facilities, fertility clinics, laboratories, and virtual platforms—on establishing operations, structuring compliant business models, and meeting federal and provincial regulations.
Her work includes advising on insured and uninsured healthcare models, advertising and promotional compliance for drugs, medical devices, and natural health products, and regulatory due diligence in transactional contexts. Christine also advises on fertility law and assisted human reproduction regulation, provides regulatory and strategic advice to FemTech companies, and counsels clients on emerging areas such as epigenetic testing.
A litigator by background, Christine’s litigation experience informs her advisory practice, enabling her to anticipate risk and provide strategic, practical guidance to clients. She has represented hospitals, public health authorities, and other health sector organizations and their employees in civil litigation. She has appeared as lead counsel before tribunals and at all levels of court in Ontario.
Christine has also completed a secondment in the legal department of a multinational pharmaceutical company, providing her with in-house perspective on regulatory risk, compliance, and operational decision-making.
