  • SSENSE Group CCAA: Acted as counsel to Bank of Montréal as agent and a syndicate of lenders (including JP Morgan Chase Bank, The Bank of Nova Scotia, Royal Bank of Canada and National Bank of Canada) in the restructuring proceedings of the Montréal-based global fashion e-commerce retailer;
  • The Lion Electric Company CCAA: Represented major unsecured creditors in a C$200 million matter involving complex cross-border Chapter 15 recognition and public market implications;
  • Romspen Mortgage Limited Partnership: Acted in cross-border creditor enforcement cases, securing a summary judgment for over C$68 million and successfully defending the appeal in Romspen Mortgage Limited Partnership v 3443 Zen Garden Limited Partnership;
  • Bus.com CCAA: Acted as counsel in a C$31 million cross-border restructuring, successfully transitioning the venture-backed transportation technology company from a Notice of Intention to CCAA proceedings; and
  • Corus Entertainment Canada Business Corporations Act: Acted as counsel to GBC 25 Dockside Inc. opposing an attempt to forcibly assign a head office lease to a third party in a C$1.1 billion matter presenting a novel legal issue under the Canada Business Corporations Act.
