Luca's practice focuses on a broad range of domestic and cross-border financing transactions, acting for both lenders and borrowers across a variety of industries and transaction structures.
Luca regularly advises financial institutions, private credit providers, sponsors and corporate borrowers in connection with syndicated and bilateral credit facilities, acquisition financings, project financings, asset-based lending transactions and other complex debt arrangements. His experience spans institutional and private credit markets and includes secured and unsecured financings, refinancing transactions and general corporate lending matters.

Morgan Securities LLC and MUFG Securities Americas Inc. as joint bookrunners) as Canadian counsel in Open Text Corporation's US$1.0 billion cross-border offering of senior secured notes.
- Counsel to WTFN Investment Holdings LP and its affiliates in connection with its formation and investment in OPG Financing LP and related participation in DNNP LP – a limited partnership established for Ontario Power Generation's BWRX-300 small modular reactor (SMR) project, the Darlington New Nuclear Project.
- Represented Telesat in $2.54B funding agreement (for its subsidiary, Telesat LEO Inc.) for its broadband satellite constellation.
