Logan maintains a broad commercial litigation practice with a focus on complex energy, banking, and shareholder disputes. Additionally, Logan advises and assists utility and oil and gas clients on regulatory matters at the provincial and federal levels.
In his disputes practice, Logan has appeared before the Alberta Court of King’s Bench, the Alberta Court of Justice, the British Columbia Supreme Court and ad hoc arbitrators. He has also assisted clients with matters before the Canada Energy Regulator, the Alberta Utilities Commission, and the Alberta Land and Property Rights Tribunal.
Logan articled with BLG prior to joining the firm as an associate.

- Xu v Ndax Canada, 2025 BCSC 2048, acted for a cryptocurrency trading platform in a negligence claim brought by a user who was the victim of a scam perpetuated by a third-party. Successful in having the claim dismissed following a three-day trial.
- Just Biofiber Corp v Just Biofiber Structural Solutions Corp, 2025 ABKB 102, acted for the respondents in successfully defending against an application for oppression and injunctive relief. Obtained full solicitor-client costs award: 2025 ABKB 407 (leave to appeal denied: 2025 ABCA 307).
- Acted for a Canadian pharmaceutical developer with respect to a worldwide injunction against activist shareholders in the U.S., Cayman Islands, and Europe in conjunction with US counsel. Injunction granted in March 2024 by the Alberta Court of King’s Bench.
- Acted for the successful claimant in an ad hoc arbitration involving the breach of commercial subcontracting and exclusivity agreements.
