Antoine’s practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation as well as class actions. Highly versatile, he has worked on several large-scale, high-stakes, complex disputes regarding a wide array of issues, including civil liability, data privacy and special remedies such as injunctions. He also advises clients in litigation surrounding official language issues.

Antoine regularly pleads before arbitration tribunals, the Federal Court of Canada and all judicial bodies in Québec.

  • Defends Google LLC in a class action on privacy and data protection legislative and regulatory framework compliance.
  • Defends Peoples Trust Company in a class action regarding prepaid credit cards activation fees.
  • Defends Take-Two Interactive Software, Rockstar Games, 2K and Zynga in class actions against the video game industry.
  • Defends FCA Canada in a class action launched in Québec against multiple original equipment manufacturers regarding the use of an electronic key system.
  • Defends McGill University at the authorization stage of a class action on students’ health insurance premiums.
  • Successfully defended Aéroports de Montréal in the class action relating to the health hazard allegedly caused by airborne nanoparticles.
  • Frequently represents a global real estate leader in various contractual and commercial disputes in Québec.
