Christine is a seasoned transactional lawyer with multi-jurisdictional legal and commercial experience in infrastructure, public and private M&A, debt and equity capital raisings, strategic acquisitions, and business integration.

Christine's practice focuses on infrastructure projects. She advises project developers on all aspects of infrastructure project delivery, including public-private partnerships, regularly guiding clients through RFP processes, and drafting and negotiating related project agreements and commercial contracts. Her clients include equity providers, construction contractors and operations and maintenance/service providers.

Christine previously served as in-house counsel to the Canadian project finance arm of a global infrastructure development company, and as in-house counsel to the corporate finance division of an international investment bank. She is known for her balanced approach to business risk issues.

Experience

  • Ontario Line Rolling Stock, Systems, Operations and Maintenance – advised a proposed rail operations and maintenance provider on their bid for this $9B design, build, finance, operate and maintain P3 transit project in Toronto.
  • Oneida battery storage project – advised Northland Power Inc. on battery procurement contracts for the $750M, 250MW Oneida battery storage project
  • Halifax Organic Waste Processing Facility Project (Nova Scotia) – Advised the successful proponent on a C$457 million P3 project to design- build, finance and maintain an organic waste processing facility for the Halifax Regional Municipality.
